Caching

When it comes to caching your website or web application's content, Goooood™ provides a wide variety of options. Goooood™ caches most content by default, but most people will want or need to customize their caching settings. You have complete control over what content is cached, and for how long that content is cached.

Before you can complete the steps in this tutorial, you must first create a CDN profile and at least one CDN endpoint.

Custom cache rule

Goooood™ allows you to set your own custom cache rule.

1. Login to Goooood™.

2. Select Cache Control from the side menu.

3. Click on Add Caching Rules button.

4. Fill in the appropriate URL pattern (catalogue is the path of the folder of your endpoint, while file suffix is the type of file to be custom-cached).

5. Fill in the cache duration (between 2 hours and 28 days).

6. Click Ok to add.

No caching rule

You can also add a cache-free rule to your CDN service.

1. Login to Goooood™.

2. Select Cache Control from the side menu.

3. Select No Caching Rules.

4. Click on Add Un-Caching Rules button.

5. Fill in the appropriate URL pattern (catalogue is the path of the folder of your endpoint, while file suffix is the type of file to be custom-cached).

6. Click Ok to add.

Clear Cache

You can manually clear the cache under your domain name.

1. Login to Goooood™.

2. Select Cache Control from the side menu.

3. Select Clear Cache.

4. Click on Clear Cache button.

5. Fill in the appropriate URL pattern (catalogue is the path of the folder of your endpoint, while file suffix is the type of file to be custom-cached).

6. Click Ok to add.

Preheating content

CDN preheating is a process of pre-loading content to a CDN server before it is requested by a user. This process helps to reduce latency and improve the user experience. Preheating is not recommended for small files.

1. Login to Goooood™.

2. Select Cache Control from the side menu.

3. Select Preheating content.

4. Click on Add Preheating button.

5. Fill in the URL of the content that you plan to prefetch, including the file name and suffix.

6. Click OK to confirm.
